A tribute to Italy's Timeless Creativity
This was the objective that Dolores De Cia set for herself when she founded her business in 1999. YOBEL - ITALIA creates modern icons by applying photochromy images or prints to carefully treated wooden or MDF panels. Many works are embellished with gold or silver leaf to enhance their featured subjects. The specials ageing process, whit uses a cracking technique taken from old Florentine recipes, adds a unique touch to each piece and, at the same time, preserves it through time.		EACH PIECE IS ENTIRELLY HANDMADE. This art form was learnt in the workshop of a graet Florentine master craftsman who has passed on both his secrets and his passion for this work. The patient research for woods, images, new products, and the ideal ambience makes this art form an activity that has been able to combinate traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques.
